  • Project Manager

  • AINIA

I am a Project Manager in Microencapsulation Technologies. I joined AINIA in 2011, in the Packaging Technologies department, where I worked on the development of materials at nano- and micrometric scale for their incorporation into food packaging, as well as on biodegradable polymers. Since 2016 I have worked in the Microencapsulation Technologies department, where I study the microencapsulation process of ingredients, active compounds, microorganisms, etc. for the food, agrochemical, cosmetic, chemical industries, etc., as well as their scale-up and industrial implementation. My training in Chemical Engineering and my doctoral thesis in the field of nanotechnology have allowed me to address multiple multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with companies from the agri-food, cosmetic and chemical sectors, among others. My main professional motivation is to apply my knowledge of microencapsulation processes to help companies improve their products and position themselves in the market.

Experience

+

I am part of the Microencapsulation Technologies team at AINIA, where I prepare, plan and execute R&D&I projects at both private and public level, focused on the study of microencapsulation processes of ingredients, active compounds, microorganisms, etc. for the food, agrochemical, cosmetic and chemical industries, among others, as well as their scale-up and industrial implementation. I lead projects in which a multidisciplinary team of researchers participates. I also act as a lecturer in the course “Fundamentals of microencapsulation of active ingredients and active compounds”.
