Objective
The AINIA 4.0 Strategic Plan was designed to last four years, concluding in 2020. In this final year, we will seek to accelerate the planned transformation process, so that AINIA can position itself as a flexible organisation capable of adapting to the requirements of the new context marked by factors such as the growing increase in the world population, climate change, resource scarcity and new consumer demands, among others.
To respond to these challenges, the market requires complex solutions, and we must be able to meet companies’ needs through innovation in products, processes, etc.
Therefore, we will continue working on the three pillars of the plan:
- Comprehensive solutions: portfolio adaptation and definition of new services
- Diversification: expansion into adjacent areas (sectoral, geographical…)
- Customer connection: strengthening internal and external connection
Our commitment to the business fabric drives us to generate new knowledge and develop innovative technologies. Our continuous focus on business solutions, on topics relevant to companies and on diversification will help us continue growing in the coming years.
We are also carrying out a plan to expand our international presence, especially in Europe.
The thematic priorities of the lines included in this Plan are framed around several RIS3-CV development axes, mainly in the agri-food sector and specifically within QUALITY OF LIFE:
- Position the Valencian Community as a global benchmark in the production of healthy, high-quality food and cosmetics aimed at people’s needs.
- Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the agri-food production system through the development and use of technology.
- Become a benchmark in the sustainable production of food, cosmetics and household products, taking into account economic and environmental factors and appropriate use of natural resources.
- Develop personalised consumer products that incorporate added value thanks to differentiated design and features, responding to individual company needs
- Incorporate more efficient, sustainable and competitive processes and materials.
