At Azucarera, research and innovation are considered fundamental aspects for developing its products and functional ingredients for human and animal food, fertilisers and products for agriculture and industry.

Convinced of the importance of implementing circular economy models to valorise and exploit 100% of its main raw material, locally grown sugar beet, the company takes advantage of its processes to generate electricity and steam, ensuring its energy self-sufficiency.
