Objective
The main objective is to develop a technical study to support the Directorate-General for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition of the Generalitat Valenciana, in decision-making regarding the implementation of certain models of biogas plants, together with technologies for the use of digestate, in line with the current structure of livestock farms, the quantities generated and the conditions of agricultural soils in the Valencian Community, taking into account optimal management of both nitrogen and organic matter from this manure.
Activities
- Initial review of available information.
- Design of co-digestion strategies using agro-industrial co-substrates available in the Valencian Community.
- Theoretical review and validation with the sector of viable anaerobic digestion models and digestate conditioning technologies.
- Experimental studies on anaerobic digestion and digestate conditioning technologies.
- Final recommendations.
