Objective<\/h2>\n

The overall objective of the iDrone \u2013 hyperspectral analytics \u2013 project is to develop a demonstrative precision agriculture model that makes it possible to identify, capture and analyse the parameters influencing a crop through the use of the latest hyperspectral vision technologies coupled with drones and autonomous robots, and big data analytics. To this end, the research activity, carried out in collaboration with companies, will focus on achieving the following specific objectives: <\/p>\n

\u2022 Identification of crops and the needs of Valencian agricultural companies in terms of production optimisation.
\n\u2022 Determination of the parameters influencing agricultural production for the selected crop.
\n\u2022 Analysis of the technology\u2019s capabilities for identifying the influencing parameters and determining the origin of the data (data source).
\n\u2022 Development of a data capture system for crops through the use of drone vehicles fitted with advanced photonic devices capable of obtaining valuable information from crops.
\n\u2022 Research and development of new robotic systems to automate data collection in greenhouses, where the use of drone vehicles is not applicable.
\n\u2022 Design of information capture, storage and processing infrastructures that integrate data from different sources.
\n\u2022 Research into the application of new big data analytics technologies for the design of solutions aimed at supporting the processes of analysis and interpretation of information for decision-making.
\n\u2022 Implementation of the demonstrative prototype and validation with companies.<\/p>\n
