A Commitment to Law on Food Safety and Consumer Protection<\/strong><\/h2>\n

FLAVEAT<\/strong><\/a> was launched with the aim of improving the quality of food systems through specialised training in food legislation.<\/strong> This training is essential to ensure safe food, protect public health, and facilitate access for producers and consumers to both national and international markets, in compliance with applicable food laws.<\/p>\n

Given its impact on health, employment, and economic development, the food industry requires highly skilled professionals. In this context, continuous training<\/strong> and technological updates, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>, are essential to maintain the sector\u2019s competitiveness and sustainability.<\/p>\n

Innovative Training Through MOOCs<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One of the cornerstones of the project is the development of four MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)<\/strong>, aimed at graduates in food science and technology, as well as experienced professionals within the sector. These courses, currently under development, have been designed based on the expertise of European partners (Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Spain) and adapted to the specific needs of the food sector in Palestine and Jordan.<\/p>\n

The MOOCs not only provide technical and regulatory content, but also promote collaboration between educational institutions and the food industry, encouraging micro-credential accreditation and the transfer of knowledge in the field of the law on food safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Spaces for Dialogue: National Discussion Groups<\/strong><\/h2>\n

FLAVEAT<\/strong> also promotes the creation of specialised discussion groups in each participating country. These forums bring together representatives from the food industry, professional associations, and experts in the law on food safety<\/strong> to jointly design the content of Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET). Their goal is to ensure that the training addresses the real challenges of the sector, combining EU best practices<\/strong><\/a> with local knowledge.<\/p>\n
